Our Story:

We are a family run business that since 1988 has been building custom wood pieces. Decorative Wood Designs brings together our love of wood working and the power of the written word. Words can reflect your values, be humorous, or thought provoking. Words can make your home come alive. Our decorative word frames are unique, hand crafted and proudly made in Canada.

Our Products:

We want to create decorative pieces for the home that add a warm, inspiring touch to any room.  Our wooden framed inspirational phrases do just that.  The phrases are elegantly lettered on glass in white or black lettering and our fine quality frames are a single-piece wood painted black or white.  Not only are we Canadian made, we are a green operation... off cuts are recycled, we use eco-friendly paints, energy efficient lighting, and several other energy-saving practices.

We have 2, 3, or 4 ft word frames, picture frames and 18", 30", and 42" plaques.  The length of each phrase determines the frame size... not all sayings fit the large frames or plaques and the shorter or 1 word sayings fit smaller frames or plaques best.

We have numerous phrases that are perfect for any occasion.
